Originally this site was named VMWJ, after me. Between v2 and v3, I changed the name to Weakling, because... I am one. And also because it's more memorable than VMWJ.

v1: Summer 2023: I don't have any screenshots or code from this version, but it was very simple. Each page had one big centered image. All the text was centered. The background and text colors were selected from the image. The most complex page was my Mankatsu shrine, which I also don't have any images of (I still have the code, but I don't care enough about archiving to recreate the page just to screenshot it.) (I made it because there's weirdly little info about Mankatsu in English online.)

v2: Summer/fall 2023: Pretty much the same as v1, but I tried to make a nicer homepage with iframes and "featured images" and stuff. And a marquee. The Mankatsu shrine is still featured.

v3: Sometime in 2024: I changed the url to weakling. I decided I didn't care enough about Mankatsu to keep a shrine. The homepage looks radically different because I realized I didn't have to try in vain to copy other people's websites. My Lupin III shrine was massive and full of unimportant opinions. I kept a media log.

v4: Summer 2025: CURRENT: I realized that a) my site didn't really feel like it was "mine" and b) the primary reason I wanted to have a site was to share my drawings, whether or not I'm confident in them. Everything was redone: the Lupin III shrine was shrunk, other shrines were added, this archive was added, the gallery (most importantly) was added, I started using my own photos and pictures of my clothes and my quilt as backgrounds, and I made a button. Now, Weakling feels like MY site, and I love it very much.
